Westmoreland, Jamaica • April 2026
Following Hurricane Melissa, BBP identified Friendship Primary School as a priority for targeted recovery support. With the contribution of our partner ANDRITZ, BBP provided the school with a generator to strengthen its operational resilience and ensure students could return to a stable learning environment. On 28 April, BBP Local Director Saffrey Brown visited the school alongside Kari Tuominen, President & CEO of ANDRITZ Oy, and Principal Cheddy Chisholm to mark the handover and see the recovery works first-hand.
